Oy, that time of year again!

I hate this time of year. For those of you who know me and have read my postings during this post-Halloween time, you know that I bitch about the same things - too much Christmas retailing too early, too much commercialism, and too many people become instant assholes during this festive time of year.

I’m tired of CHRISTMAS being marketed EVERYWHERE and shoved down my throat like a feeding tube! And then the obligatory Happy Hanukah and Happy Kwanza so these companies don’t get sued.

I’ll will be posting my NOTICE OF NAUSEA just after Thanksgiving (which is when the Christmas lights start to go up) for you all to print out and hopefully share with those annoying neighbors with obnoxious holiday displays.

But being that I am a business owner, I have found a way to capitalize on this season of spending. 31 Skullduggery Lane will be selling some great dark holiday gifts and ornaments for those of you who like to carry the spirit of Halloween through November, December, and beyond!

So...Ho, Ho, F’n Ho!

As much as I LOVE Halloween and this time of year, it’s fucking tiring! There always seems to be too many things to do...which wears me the fuck out!

Even though I didn’t work Fright Fest up at Magic Mountain, I was busy working with Beth on our new company 31 Skullduggery Lane. I work at Ceniza Cigar Lounge part time to help pay the bills.

We’re still getting used to being parents to Grepsie. Being on “dog schedule” of walks first thing in the morning and getting to know her personality and getting settled living with us has been fun, rewarding, and nerve-racking at the same time. We love her with all our hearts, and just want to be the best mommy and daddy we can be for her.

Beth and my wedding anniversary is coming up on Friday and this is the first Halloween/Anniversary that we are not working and will actually be able to spend it alone together.

Then we’re co-hosting a Halloween party on Saturday and still have to get our costumes together and help decorate and set up...Oy!

Maybe I’m just venting, but I am looking forward to a little slower pace, cooler weather, and more pumpkin pie!
